KidsChooz ("we", "us") is a free activity planner for parents, available at kidschooz.com. This policy explains what information is used when you visit the site and how advertising works.
Who uses KidsChooz
KidsChooz is designed for parents and guardians. It is not intended to be used by children on their own. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children.
Information we use
- Planner choices — child's age range, interests, budget, location and preferences you enter. These are used to build your plan in your browser and are not linked to a name or account.
- Saved settings — your language choice and translations are stored in your own browser (local storage).
- Approximate location — the city or country you type is used to show local currency, local meals and relevant partner offers.
- Usage information — anonymous events such as which buttons are clicked, to improve the planner.
We do not ask for your child's name, photo, school or contact details. Please do not enter them.
Cookies and advertising
We use Google AdSense to show advertisements. Third-party vendors, including Google, use cookies to serve ads based on a user's prior visits to this and other websites.
- Google's use of advertising cookies enables it and its partners to serve ads based on visits to this site and/or other sites on the internet.
- You can opt out of personalised advertising by visiting Google Ads Settings, or opt out of some third-party vendors at aboutads.info.
- Learn more in How Google uses information from sites that use its services.
Because KidsChooz is a family site, we aim to request non-personalised, family-safe ads wherever possible.
Sponsored placements
Some cards are clearly marked "Sponsored". Clicking them takes you to the partner's website, which has its own privacy policy. Sponsors never change the facts in your plan.
Children's privacy
We follow the principles of Indonesia's Personal Data Protection Law (UU PDP No. 27/2022), the US COPPA and the EU GDPR regarding children. If you believe a child has given us personal information, contact us and we will delete it.
Your rights
You can clear all information KidsChooz stores on your device at any time by clearing your browser's site data. You may also contact us to ask questions or request deletion.
